Unrestored original condition. From around 1968 to 1982, various smaller German music stores and dealers joined forces to form a purchasing alliance in order to negotiate better procurement terms with the major manufacturers. These instruments, some of which were customised and others taken over unchanged from the producers range, were sold under the Luxor brand name. The largest German suppliers were Framus and Klira, along with the Japanese brands Ibanez and Aria (Matsumoku, Fujigen-Gakki and Kasuga). Courtesy ofFramus Museum, Markneukirchen, Germany.
